After looking into it further, you don’t have to use Yoast’s Video SEO Plugin. The All In One Schema.org Plugin supports video Rich Snippets, WP Rich Snippets does not support videos or events (I contacted them and they said they’re working on it). But, Google does not show as many videos as they used to in their search results. From what I’ve read, websites can only get video rich snippets working if the video is a large part of their website (eg. Youtube style).
